Blue stone is a greyish-blue fine-grained extrusive igneous rock formed from the rapid cooling of low-viscosity lava rich in magnesium and iron (mafic lava) exposed at or very near the surface of a rocky planet or a moon. Blue Stone is one of the hardest rocks making it suitable for use on flooring, window sills, and vulnerable wall cladding areas.
Areas of application include interior and exterior wall cladding, constructing pool decks, gardens and any landscaping designs.
The stone allows for several other types of finishes like bush-hammered, chisel, vein cut, classic noce mini set and Split face Mosaic.
Century Stone cuts blue stone in mainly two dimensions; 100mm×FL and 180mm×FL. Other patterns can be designed to fit the client’s designs at an extra cost
